Douglas Pell

An Egyptologist, Douglas makes a discovery which will ultimately change his life in so many ways.

His finding of the AOA plates on a mountainside in Egypt trigger alarm bells which reach the British Ministry of Defence who in turn notify the US State Department. Through the clandestine network that runs through the Administration, Justin Hoffman insists Pell is brought to his secret facility to hand over the plates - they have a direct bearing on his long-running investigation.

Since Hoffman keeps Douglas mainly in the dark as to his motives, when a further discovery is made at the British Museum, Douglas keeps it to himself.

A devoted dad too, like many of us he makes decisions in difficult circumstances which in all good faith he believes are in the best interests of his daughter. He shows great courage in defending his family from harm - even when faced with a power he cannot understand.
