Passionate about writing
From an early age I have felt an urge to express myself through the medium of the written word.
With the advent of self-publishing this has given me the chance to share what I create with a wider audience, for which I am eternally thankful.
Now I have the self-publishing bug, I can't see myself gving up. So I'm afraid there's lots more to come....

Why do I write?
Writing is a great outlet for my grasshopper brain which always seems to be crammed full of random ideas. Publishing a labour of love which generally takes 6 months of my life does give me a huge sense of achievement.
I aim to make readers stop and think. And laugh. And sometimes cry. For readers to connect at that level - that would make me happy. It would also be good if they did not think my books sucked....
Why conspiracies?
I have a hunger to know every little detail about every little thing. And a lot of conspiracy theories concern very big things. The little details, mes amis, they do not add up in a great many of these cases.
So beginning with AOA and now The 11th Apostle, I hope that these fictional stories ignite a spark among readers to do a little research, shed a little more light on events that have shaped our world. Challenge the 'official line' in an objective way. After all, how can we ever truly 'know'?

About me
I guess it doesn't take a genius to know my real name is not Ron Alias. There is a longish story as to how the name came about. Maybe another time.
I was born in 1970 and am married with two daughters. I live in Birmingham in the UK (as opposed to the US one) and during the day I work in a call centre giving mortgage advice. When I am not mortgage advising or writing I can be found cooking, trying to stop my house from falling down and, like most people, spending far too much time looking at my phone.
